21-point/Blackjack Rules:

1. 21-point/Blackjack has 3 types of bets: regular bet, insurance bet, and pair bet.
2. In 21-point/Blackjack, the Ace can be counted as either 1 or 11, depending on the total sum of the player’s hand. If the total is less than or equal to 21, the Ace is counted as 11. If the total exceeds 21, the Ace is counted as 1. Cards from 2 to 10 are counted at face value, while Jacks, Queens, and Kings are counted as 10.
3. If the dealer’s total exceeds 21 and the player’s total is less than or equal to 21, the player wins. If the dealer’s total exceeds 21, the dealer wins. If both the dealer and the player have totals less than or equal to 21, the one closest to 21 wins. If the totals are the same, it is a tie, and the player’s regular bet amount is returned. No suit comparison is made. (In a situation where both the dealer and player bust, the dealer wins.)
4. The player must choose the bet type within 6 seconds. If no action is taken, the system will automatically stand. In the case of splitting, if no action is taken, the system will automatically assume surrender.
5. When the sum of the cards exceeds 21, it is called a bust.
6. When the total is 21, a Blackjack (BJ) or having eight cards, the drawing of additional cards will automatically stop.
7. Blackjack: A combination of an Ace and a card worth 10 points is called a Blackjack (21-point/Blackjack), and the payout for a win is 1.5 times the regular bet amount. The Blackjack combination has to beat a regular 21-point/Blackjack combination, and no suit comparison is made.
8. The ranking order from highest to lowest is: eight-card win, Blackjack, regular combinations. A player wins if they can accumulate up to eight cards without exceeding 21 (including 21), with a payout rate of 1:1. If the dealer has an eight-card win and the player’s total is greater than the dealer’s, the dealer wins. If both the dealer and the player have an eight-card win, it is a tie, and the player’s regular bet amount is returned. The pair bet refers to betting on a pair of the player’s first two cards and can only be placed on the regular bet position. Mixed pair: Same value, different color (e.g. King of Spades – King of Hearts) Same color pair: Same value, same color (e.g. King of Spades – King of Clubs) Perfect pair: Same value, same color, same suit (e.g. King of Spades – King of Spades) The maximum and minimum bets for 21-point/Blackjack: There are maximum and minimum bets for the regular and pair bets.

Features of 21-point/Blackjack:

The predecessor of 21-point/Blackjack, called “vingt-et-un” (meaning 21 in French), originated in French casinos around 1700. At that time, the game did not offer a 3:2 payout for a hand of 21 consisting of two cards.

Initially, 21-point/Blackjack was not popular in the United States, so casinos tried to attract players by offering various additional bonuses. One of these bonuses was a tenfold payout when a player had both a spade Ace and a black Jack (either spades or clubs). This combination was called “blackjack,” and the name gradually became associated with the American version of the game, even after the additional bonus rule was discontinued. The key is to take into account the overall variations and focus on the most intuitive and visible aspects.

1. Opportunities decrease with longer idle times. If you see six consecutive idle times, it’s time to take action. If you have abundant chips, you can enter after five consecutive idle times. The occurrence rate of going from six to eight consecutive idle times is less than 4%, so you can succeed in 96 out of 100 attempts.
2. When there are consecutive double jumps (leisure village, leisure village, leisure village) more than six times, the probability of breaking the leisure-plus-village increases with each successive jump. After six times, the probability reaches about 75%. This means you have a 75% chance of winning the second jump.

Even if you fail, your next attempt has an 80% success rate. Combining both, your success rate is around 95%. In cases where the sixth jump is idle, you may have to wait for the seventh jump, with a combined success rate of nearly 99%.

1. When the result of “player wins – dealer wins” with a certain number of rounds is greater than 12, the probability of the dealer winning will be approximately twice the player winning. This means that after this situation occurs, for every three hands, the dealer can win two.

Even if you lose, when this number is greater than 14, the probability of the dealer winning becomes three times higher than the player winning. This means that if you lose twice consecutively and then increase your bet, you have a 97% chance of avoiding a loss and a 73% chance of winning.

Insurance bets will make you lose money, which is why it’s best to never purchase insurance when the dealer’s up card is an Ace (11). Yes, even if you have a good hand (totaling 19 or 20), avoid buying it. The reason is that the payout (2:1) is smaller than the actual probability of the dealer getting a blackjack.

If in all rounds, you double down on a hard 11 against the dealer’s up card instead of hitting, you can win more money.

In the past, a blackjack hand (21 total) would always pay out at a rate of 3 to 2 (3:2). For example, if you bet $10 and got a blackjack, you’d receive a payout of $15 ($10 x 3/2). However, some online casinos offer a payout rate of only 6 to 5 (6:5). In this case, even if you bet $10, you’ll only win back $12 ($10 x 6/5).

If you choose a 21 game with a 6:5 payout rate, the casino advantage is typically over 2%. The best strategy is to only select 21 games that offer a 3 to 2 payout rate.
